Sophomore Year

During my sophomore year my CIBACS class was given the opportunity to collaborate with an existing company to launch a new product. My team created FACT Inc., which consisted of myself, Natalie Cook, Aubrey Franklin, and Aubrey Allen. We were lucky enough to work with Simple Green and help them add a laundry capsule to their existing product line. FACT Inc. worked to develop every aspect of the new cleaning creation. A complete marketing proposal was created for the Simple Green Laundry Capsule, including logo design and a mockup of the actual product packaging. A one minute commercial was filmed and produced by our team, and an impact analysis was included in our final presentation. After months of work, FACT Inc. had the opportunity to pitch the product to a panel of judges. The judges consisted of Bruce FaBrizio, the CEO of Simple Green, and volunteer parents and administration. A google slides show, visual aids, and a comprehensive printed proposal were all a part of a fifteen minute presentation that was followed by a question and answer period. While our whole group worked together to accomplish the product launch, my primary role was to work on the impact analysis, surveys and visual aids for our presentation.
