Junior Year

FasTrak

During the junior year of my CIBACS journey, I completed an internship at HB Digital, a local reprographics company. The requirement of the FasTrak project was to complete a 10 hour internship and to job shadow of a professional in a field that interested me. I interned with Dom and Kristy Iorfino who are the owners of the company, and they allowed me to get to know their business. Dom and Kristy are entrepreneurs and successful small business owners. I began learning the ins and outs of the reprographics business. I was given hands on experience preparing and executing projects, and getting to experience the day to day responsibilities of the employees as well as the business owners. I enjoyed my experience so much that I was fortunate to become a part time employee to this day. I have learned  valuable lessons that will transfer into any future career path. HB Digital turned out to be more than a reprographics company, and gave me an inside look at the workings of a small business.
